Pain from whiplash may take several hours to appear. You may experience headaches and neck pain which spreads to the shoulders, upper back and arms. Dizziness, double or blurred vision may also be experienced.

Usually this is as a result of a sudden jolt to the neck, either from a fall, a bang to the head or from a car collision.

Early physiotherapy intervention is important. Treatment can include spinal mobilisations, soft tissue mobilisations, myofascial release, postural advice and exercises.

If the accident was not your fault your car insurance may pay for you to attend physiotherapy privately. Call us now. We can help and advise you.

For more information on whiplash read our Physio First document on the subject.
