The cause of neck pain is usually ligament, muscle or joint and most of us at some point will suffer with it.
It is usually mechanical and can be aggravated by lifting, or bad postures (computer work).
Most neck pain is not serious and can be helped with physiotherapy.
If you have regular neck pain it is advisable to have an ergonomic assessment particularly if it occurs at work.
